The Money Centre
The Money Centre is a buy to let mortgage broker who has been monitoring the way news attracts people to their website www.themoneycentre.net.
The Money Centre shows an impressive increase in the number of hits to its website (especially after 3 months) as well as a dramatic shift from visitors clicking through from the home page to the majority of visits coming via search engines and clicking straight to news articles.
The graph below shows that visits increase greatly (more than double) over 5 months and people are being drawn directly from search engines on to news articles. This is because news articles have been stored in an archive which is very search engine friendly.
Visible Pages
MNS also increases the number of visible pages search engines recognise because each article is a separate page published on your website. Below are some examples of websites showing number of visible pages, including the unique news content:
site: www.majortravel.co.uk = 198,000 visible pages;
site: www.confetti.co.uk = 161,000 visible pages;
